My workshop will be space and time devoted to movement, writing, and fantasy for folks to engage with their pleasure and imagination. Guided through an improvisational movement score, folks will take the time to be saturated with lush imagery and excerpts from black feminist literature. We daydream and write our own scripture.
Jasmine Hearn is a choreographer and dancer. A native Houstonian, she graduated magna cum laude from Point Park University with her B.A. in Dance. Jasmine travels around the country to showcase her choreographic work and to participate in diverse dance projects.
